Alongside the growth of the use of computers and the web, digital resources have been playing an increasingly important role in teaching and learning foreign languages. As far as L2 Japanese is concerned, although this language is widely studied in the world, digital resources publicly available for research (in corpus linguistics, translation, terminology, computational linguistics) and education (in self-paced, classroom or virtual settings) are still limited, especially for non-English speaking learners.
